A Mission of Recovery Recognizing the crisis, Ainsley Becnel—a specialist in electronics and computer systems—mobilized a team of technology experts. With emergency authorization from Governor Kathleen Blanco, the group re-entered the devastated city just 48 hours after the disaster. Their mission was clear: salvage the hardware and data essential for the city's eventual rebirth.
